The high level of creativity in play here isn't obvious on a cursory listen, since a lot of the tracks favor the same sort of midtempo blues shuffle, but a closer listen reveals a stunning guitarist who plays the blues with a jazzman's soul, and while Walker isn't a flashy 6/

6. Stormy Monday I've always been intrigued with after hearing it. I know music changes and gets re-written so I wanted to hear the original. I've been learning to play the blues and sometimes you just want to go to the beginning with it so you can pick up some of the same feelings. T-Bone Walker made it seem just to easy/5(2).

8. The album was complied from sessions recorded by T-Bone for ABC-Bluesway and originally released on three albums: Stormy Monday Blues (), Funky Town () and Dirty Mistreater (). I'm not sure if the last of these contained the last of T-Bone's recordings - there were other albums released in - but if not they were very close/5(8).

The tracks on this CD include a large amount of instrumental music - T-Bone Walker was known for being an exceptionally good guitarist (who had backed up other vocalists) as well as being a good vocalist with a smooth delivery. You might call this easy listening blues. Total playing time is over 45 minutes. The 15 tracks on the CD are/5(93).
